EVs are heavier because of the battery and have instant torque, so they wear tyres faster than combustion cars. Poor alignment makes it worse, typically wearing the inner edge. We measure toe and camber on all wheels and adjust them to manufacturer values.
We also change large and low-profile wheels, balance them and torque them to spec. We only lift the car at the manufacturer's jacking points. During a tyre change we check tread depth and tyre age and tell you how many seasons they have left.

What people ask
Why does an EV wear tyres faster?
It is heavier and has instant torque. With poor alignment the inner edge also wears unevenly — the tyre is finished before the centre tread shows it.
Does an EV need special tyres?
Not necessarily, but load rating and size must match the registration documents. EV-specific tyres usually have a higher load rating and lower rolling resistance, which helps range.
Can you do the alignment during a tyre change?
Yes, and it is the best moment — the car is already on the lift.
