An EV has dozens of control units, and the message on the screen often shows the effect, not the cause. We read fault codes from all units, compare them with measured values and track down which component has actually failed.
Our technicians used to work at a Tesla service centre and repair at component level. Where a dealer replaces a whole module, we often find and replace just the faulty part. We explain the result and quote the repair upfront.

How is this different from dealer diagnostics?
We do not stop at the fault code and a replacement unit. We look for the specific faulty component, so the repair tends to cost less.
Can you replace and program a unit too?
Yes. We replace, program and recode control units so they communicate correctly with the car.
